MAKE BETTER UPLOADS
Understand your loudness result
What is LUFS?
LUFS estimates perceived loudness across a programme. It is more useful than a simple peak reading when comparing complete videos.
Why leave peak headroom?
Lossy encoding can create higher peaks between samples. A ceiling around −1 dBTP gives your master useful margin.
Do not chase a number
A clean, intelligible and dynamic master is better than a distorted one that only reaches a louder target.
